Valleitjesroute, Lennik

This route lives up to its name. The Pajottenland is the most hilly part of the Green Belt. Behind each hill you will find a small valley, sanded out by one of the countless streams and ditches that spring up here. Picturesque villages preserve beautiful monuments such as the castle Oplombeek and the Desert Chapel in Gooik, castle Heetvelde in Oetingen and the tragic mill in Lombeek.
