The jubilee parc is an exhibition parc in Brussels. Walk under a large triumphal arch to a quiet spot in the parc where you can admire classic cars, military history and extensive gardens.
The Cinquantenaire Park is an extensive set of gardens, dotted with monuments and museums. The Triumphal Arch dominates the park with its three arched vaults and has a symbolic value for Brussels. The entire park is executed in 'Fine Arts' style. In 1880, for the fiftieth anniversary of Belgium, only the two side buildings, the plinth of the colonnade and the triumphal arch were built. The planting of the trees dates from 1888.
The Cinquantenaire Park is a park in classic 'French' style. It was designed as a large rectangle geometrically intersected by beautiful rows of trees. The wide avenues frame rectangular lawns, which are bordered with pruned laurel hedges or decorated with flower beds and sculptures.
